Advocacy Campaign
to exonerate the wrongly convicted
If disappointed by the legal-judicial path, this path offers a strategic alternative. It starts by estimating the viability of your innocence claim. Then compels the authorities to take notice.
Your advocacy campaign unfolds in five distinct phases.
-
PREP phase: You prepare your campaign with our support.
-
BASE phase: You build a team of innocence supporters.
-
TEAM phase: You put your team to work for innocence.
-
GROW phase: You bring on board helpful professionals.
-
GOAL phase: You compel authorities of your innocence.
Typically, you start your PREP phase on a shoestring budget, or without any upfront expenses at all. You want to be sure this is a good fit for you before spending a lot of cash

2)
BASE phase
You begin building a base of support for the campaign.
Steph 1: Prelaunch your campaign with a fundraiser.
For claimant with access to the Internet
Scroll down your completed EIF until you get to the fundraiser video script, just below the list of potential supporters. Select which highlights you want to feature; the fewer the words the better.
Review the text. Yours will appear differently than the example below from my case. Edit your highlights, synopsis, flipside and summary if necessary. Besides your provided self-image, we provide stock images and text images for the video. We use text-to-speech software to read your text.
When ready, contact me to help create your own unique fundraiser on Value Relating, using the URL created on the next page of the EIF. Review the proof, then after you sign off you move to the next step below.
For proxy serving claimant without access to the Internet
Follow the same steps above on your claimant's behalf.
After the pilot version verifies how to best do this fundraiser step, we hope to allow you to directly create the video and fundraiser right on our platform. You could then make changes as necessary. Until then, we need to manually set up much of it on your behalf.
Step 2: List potential supporters with their email address.
For claimant with access to the Internet
Come up with a list of friends and family who knows you're innocent. Or suspects you are innocent. Get each one's current email address.

Step 3: Invite friends and family to join your support team.
For claimant with access to the Internet
Call or text each to tell them you have an important message to send them by email. Send your first batch of email messages only to those who know you are innocent. Let the momentum of their support inspire those who merely suspect you are innocent.
Scroll down to next page in the EIF. Select who will get the next email. Then copy and paste this auto-created personalized message into your email program.
Document the response from each in the list above. To the right of each email address, use the dropdown menu to mark each one.
-
d = decline
-
f = follower
-
s = supporter
-
n = no response (after 2 weeks)
Next, click in the SUBJECT line, and respond to each invitee accordingly.

Fundraisers tend to be more successful the more you plug into your supporters' psychology.
-
Keep your target reachable. We start with the humble ask of $400. It's easier for 40 people to reach $400 at about $10 each than for 100 people to reach $10,000 at about $100 each. $400 is just enough to get us started the first month.
-
Tap into momentum. Once your closest supporters move the progress bar to a third or to halfway, your more distant supporters will want to get on the bandwagon.
-
Instant satisfaction. Thank your supporters right after they give their donations. Then they will feel more inspired to give again. (In the future, we hope to automate this.)

Twofold Campaign
As the powerless gain courage to speak truth to power, the powerholders gain vital branding data when they listen to those impacted. Each side needs the other. Advocacy campaigns make sure powerholders need the powerless more than the powerless need powerholders. Hopefully, you can see this in each step of the campaign.

I. Campaign Advocacy for the powerless
Option 1: CAMPAIGN follower
Join the campaign to follow the story of affirmed innocence. Free, but could be asked to donate at some time. View the campaign files in real time.
Option 2: CAMPAIGN supporter
Invest in the campaign with a $2.95 per week commitment. A minimum of 40 investing supporters at $2.95 each can sustain a campaign.
Option 3: CAMPAIGN leader
Lead this campaign as the claimant or proxy. Be the shot caller for only $7.95 per week.
Each campaign is hosted by the Saybackr.org platform. That too is still in pilot mode. The Saybackr platform takes 15.125% from each payment to cover its costs.
$2.95 x 15.125% = $0.45, which leaves $2.50 for each supporter to support the direct costs of the campaign.
A minimum of 40 investing supporters can sustain a campaign. That is enough to cover the weekly cost of $75 for the 50-minute ADVOCACY online sessions.
$7.95 x 15.125% = $1.20, which leaves $6.75 of the campaign leader's weekly contribution to help cover the ongoing costs of the campaign.
Option 1: Guidance
Prep a "campaign" advocating for all sides to resolve their power-impacted needs.
Option 2: Support
Grow your support team and launch your campaign to speak truth to power.
Option 3: Advocacy
Incentivize the powerful to invest in your mutually need-resolving cause.
Anankelogic Principles
Needs are objective facts
When you experience thirst, your body objectively requires replenishment of water. When you feel lonely, your life objectively requires some closer connection to another.
No government official has authority over our needs.
1. Sending out invitations to each prospect friend and family member.
2.
While no one sits above the law, no law sits above the needs it exits to serve.
